The Coop
The whimsical farmhouse room — rooster bedspread, on purpose. Sleeps two, private bath, just remodeled.
A lodge in the Texas Hill Country — two suites, three themed rooms, peacocks at sunrise.
The house was built in 2003 — fifteen minutes from Bandera, forty minutes from San Antonio, on a quiet stretch of FM 1283 that lets the road noise give up before it reaches the porch.
The rooms are warm and the towels are folded. The peacocks start at six, and there is no rush whatsoever about any of it.
Six and a half acres, less than a mile from Medina Lake. You come here to read on the porch, walk the land, sit with people you like. That's the whole pitch. Office hours: just about 24/7 — Dad rarely sleeps.
Both suites are private — separate entrances, separate quiet. Book one, or book both if the whole family is coming.
South-facing windows that catch the late afternoon light, a king bed, and a deep tub. The Bandera sleeps two.

Two queen beds, a private bath, and the room with the most calm in it — plus a small antique toddler’s bed for the littlest traveler. The Frontier sleeps four.

Three additional themed rooms in the main house, available on request when the suites are booked or when a larger party is coming.

A room for the traveler — global pieces on the wall and a love seat in a quiet corner to read. Sleeps two.

A tribute to service. Sleeps two, faces the front porch.
Your room comes with the run of the common spaces downstairs — the new kitchen, the dining room, and the game room. The kitchen is stocked. The dining room sits eight comfortably and twelve if you bring chairs. The pool table has been re-felted — which is the right number of times for a lodge that has been open this long.

We're opening the lodge to weddings — big or small. Six and a half acres, plenty of parking, and the whole property becomes yours for 24 hours: both suites and the three themed rooms included. Every wedding is priced individually, because every wedding is different.
The lodge has hosted weddings before. A real gallery — ceremony, long table, bar, porch — is in the works from past weekends. Until it's ready, call us and we'll send the photos directly. The actual day gets shaped around the couple either way.
There's a guest book by the door, and people keep filling it. These are real entries from real weekends, word for word.
Direct bookings come with a small welcome — usually a bottle of something local on the kitchen counter. Vrbo bookings are great too. Either way, we'll see you on the porch.
Call, text, or WhatsApp — same number. We answer.
